I wish this were a joke, but we have to get rid of Gulen. He has decided that he cannot stand being in a crate and has managed to mangle one so that he can escape from it and completely tore up the plastic pan in the "escape proof" one we bought yesterday

We've ended up keeping him. We consulted a trainer, and he has given us several things we can do to help keep the dog sane. Unfortunately a lot of it involves exercising the dogs more, which cuts in to my free time (connecting to one of your posts). But better that than have the dog hurt himself or rip the house to shreds.
