Algonquin College's "Mobile Learning Initiative"

I am a tad unhappy with my current job ... and I have some friends, notably fajrdrako, who are seriously thinking of retraining. This would be straightforward if we can afford the tuition fees and all the other costs. Alas, those costs are not trivial.

Not sure that I'd agree with Algonquin's assessment of Windows gear being superior for that course's requirements. Or those of the actual job, come to think on it a bit.

Sorry, but I forgot to add [that I read] there's a contract between Algonquin College and M$. In short, the College's bias towards Microsoft-specific solutions has been fully bought and paid for.

It's been visible enough for the past few years that I doubt that I can get decent training there for any Open Source solutions or those tied to the Mac [or Apple].
