No mortal is perfect, and judging from what I observe in nature, I'd dare suggest that not even God is purely perfect. Hence, don't burden yourself with a mistake. Such happen, and any true friendship will withstand such problems. Likewise, if you do not intend to harm someone emotionally, then it is not your responsibility for the other's emotions; that's a classic psych rule. Therein, chin-up and don't punish yourself over your mortality.

Oh, no, Dr... I hardly expect to be perfect... Not by any stretch of the imagination. o_O But I just... hate myself for trying to appear as something I'm not to others. Because in the end, when they need that factor most, there is a chance I could fail them. And I hate to make seeming promises that I cannot keep... *Tail twitches absently behind him*

If a promise is made vague at onset, it might not be possible to keep it. Such is a contractual flaw, not a flaw of character or person. Learn from it. And above all, never hate yourself. You're stuck with you, so learn to shrug and skip along into what comes next. No worries.

We need food, water, etc... *Winks* We want everything else.

But as I told Shadow, Howly... No worries. I'll be back. I shan't be gone forever....

If you are only true to yourself there will be no obstacles, morality presents with it false walls, these are what conflicts you. If you are honest to yourself then that is all that can be asked, situations arise that simply happen, possibly because they have to.

Balance is very important, but the observation of balance is moreso.

Please feel better soon..
