Dear Callee,

It is time you sat back an realized what you are not, what you have not, and what you want not. You must stop trying to convince yourself that you can have things which are not yours. You must listen to the rational side of you which tells you that you cannot have such things.

Let others enjoy what is meant for them, while you ( Read more... )

Everyone has the potential for happy things in life, dear lupine. *Nods absently* As for what comes gradually? Hmm... so much seems cliche, anymore, that I can hardly tell its absence. Not that such is bad, mind... It's simply that I hate to sound cliche when what I say or do is completely honest in its intentions.

I have tried building goals before, dear... But they never seem to work. I tend to fall short of them, simply because the goals I set for myself are too lofty and outlandish. Doing something different is not a matter of comfort, but rather a matter of conformation. To do something different is easy, but to believe that said difference has any meaning is a completely separate matter.

I do hope you have been well, and continue to be so. *Wags his tail meekly* Take care, now! ^^

*Tips his head* Reading what, dear? *Noses* Time can change so many things... ^^ I'm sure I'll be fine soon enough.

But I do wish I could... change for the better.... *Nods meekly*

The rational side of the mind is biased from what you have been lead to believe. It can cloud over your eyes and make you fail to see things that are there for you. You must cast aside all of the opinions, morals and logical understandings and just 'see'. The most difficult thing in life is realising the veil that shrouds over our eyes and mind, when you know what it's doing, you can then 'will' your idea.

Ah, but I cannot "will" someone to love me if they don't, sir. *Winks*

Perhaps not, but you can see things in light and form clear understandings. I find it's useful when approached with an overly emotional situation, just to see things objectively instead of subjectively.

Aside from that, you are a lovely Border who is very caring and compassionate to others, though you need to appreciate yourself more. There can be no evidence of how 'good' you can be, but it must be a belief and will of yourself.

*sits down next to you and pets your head softly* You're a good boy ^^

"A letter, 06 April. From the frontlines.

The artillery bombardment has slackened today, though clouds with the greys of Grasmere loom above. I will not write of what I wish to have never saw, but will instead reflect on a strange sensation I had following the silencing of the canon's maw. An odd trait in life is tenacity, that no matter the circumstance, we - the living - continue on persisting. Somehow, even when faced with fields so dire, we carry on. That, my friend, brings me hope that when all of this pain, all of these dashed hopes, all pass in quiet that I, too, can hope to move-on with my own life. Clenching this life-stained sheet with my mud-encrusted claws I wish you well in this, your own 24/7."

Much of our suffering comes from believing that we are supposed to be happy (or that we are supposed to be sad). We were never meant to be either; we just are. Seek things in the now, be in the moment, and recognize that without one there cannot be another. Without one there cannot be another, be such of emotion or of friends ( ... )
