Captain America - the more coherent rambling - er, review

You have to ignore that short entry from yesterday, my brain was too busy processing two hours of THIS to function properly. SERIOUSLY, WHO HAS MUSCLES LIKE THAT? Muscles like that make smart girls very, very dumb. HE'S NOT EVEN MY TYPE BUT THEN HE DOES THAT THING WITH HIS EYES AND I'M SO DEAD.

I thought the fighting was AWESOME. And I'm not big on fighting usually, but all of Cap's fight scenes totally blew me away, esp the one with Batroc for some reason.

I also felt the whole Winter Soldier plot got sidelined a bit, but I think I'm one of the few people in the world not interested in Bucky. I didn't think Natasha got sidelined that badly, she had some good scenes, and man does she have some self esteem issues going on there, but they had better give her her own movie now or I will smack a bitch.

He's not my type either (well except now with the beard Chris is pretty damn hot) but BY GOD how are you not supposed to STARE at every single sculptured part of that man? Gah.

I was kind of surprised Captain Moral Compass was allowed to kick hard enough to break sternums - that and the lacking sermons about what's right and what's wrong REALLY improve the character (I'm only reading the Iron Mann comics that are the only two aspects he's ever allowed to be when he's visiting).

Also Bucky, yeah, really not my favourite storyline, but then as I said, not a huge fan of the comics anyway. There could've been so much more emo!Bromance. Meh. And Natasha... I had kind of hoped we'd get some backstory for her as well, I thought they'd somehow tie that into Bucky's storyline somehow, with all the similarities they share. Lost potential, I think.

AND HIS MUSCLES; RIGHT? I'M INNA GYM 3 TIMES A WEEK AND NOBODY THAT MUSCLED SHOULD BE THAT HOT: If you're into the beard, did you see these? Probably, but still.

I loved the fighting, and the fighting is usually my least favourite part, but he was a hell of a mover suddenly.

Because he's not this overbearing moral crusader, I found myself actually paying attention when he briefly did get on his moral high horse with Fury, and I was all yeah, preach at me Cap, it's kind of hot.

I don't... muscles don't really do it for me so why do I want to lick these I'm so confused. I'm into the beard, and hell yes I've seen them all. I am SO INTO THE BEARD IT'S NOT FUNNY.

I think the preaching was okay, because for ONCE I agreeed. Also yay for Captain's Orders outranking Evil Guys.
