It sure is summer out there. I got to lug 30 pounds of investment (plaster of paris) for a block to my building. And I'd just like to confirm that it's really summer out there.

Edit: Make that 30 pounds of investment, 10 pounds of rubber mould making compound, and 5 pounds of wax, all in one box. Sweatastic!

Did you at least go into a place that has air conditioning?

For a lazy sod like me, it sure was more lugging heavy stuff around than I cared to do. LOL

that funny. 45 lbs. my son is 53 lbs. now and he still expects to be carried fairly regularly. My BF mourns my back and our ability to walk together when we are old every time I pick him up and sit him on my hip. Which I just just stopped doing. He must have looked ridiculous, as big as he is being held like a toddler. Now the only option I offer is piggy back and even thats a bit tiring. Hes such a little man now, but still I think of him as my baby.

Fifty three pounds is really starting to get up there. How old is he? What percentage of your own weight is that, anyway? I was carrying my puppy around the house the other day when I realized he weighed over a quarter of what I weigh. It kind of explained why he felt so heavy. LOL
