Today I collected a bunch of money, made a big wholesale gold order (well, OK big for me) and replaced my dead digicam. I just realized that it was one year ago today that my dad had his first stroke and heart attack. It's kinda been a tough year since.

Oh yeah, and I got half a dozen cool new rings polished and am now starting on some commissioned pieces.

Things are definitely picking up in Jazz Fest world. For starters they're now running jazz bands. LOL  The last band was a big band who even covered Cab Calloway's Minnie the Moocher. I'm starting to like this.

OMG, they've finally sdtarted playing jazz on the jazz fest stage outside my window. I guess that means I can give Mr. Zombie a break, now. LOL

OMG they put a blues band on that stage. That's getting pretty close to jazz. What if I actually hear some jazz from the Jazz Fest tonight?

We at least the Jazz Fest is now delivering a lame top 40's band instead of country & western. I wonder if there will ever be a jazz bond on that stage - at least during the Jazz Fest?

Oh goody, now the Jazz Fest has a different country band heehawin away out there. Maybe it's their own special way of making me wish they would switch to jazz?

I despise the Jazz Festival. It's loud, immensely inconvenient for those who work in the area, and the festival doesn't play much jazz. For instance, right now the Jazz Fest stage has a country & western band yeehawin up a storm right outside my window. Country and western makes me want to puke blood. We now have a medium sized safe installed in my dad's house as well.  This is something my dad should have done 30 years ago, but at least it is done now.
