ooooer, i used lj cuts cause i know this is a long entry

today is rather quiet about that whole soccer thing. On friday and saturday everybody was talking shit like a crazy motherfucker who just ram raided a bank with a stolen cop car, and now it's all quiet like a doormouse with a comedown in a library playing with pop-up books...

i'm one of those people caught up (well, not majorly) in the whole soccer thing. but i would never stoop so low as to pretend i knew much about it. they kick the ball from one end to another, and try to get it in the net. sometimes they throw it in from outside the lines when only the gaol keeper is meant to use thier hands.
i don't pretend to know anymore, and i agree with you, _i hate the people who pretend to know all about it. it's just as bad as someone thinking they understand they complexitites and could perform a triple by-pass because they've watched ER and attended bioligy in high school.

cool, my first comment. i wasn't sure how this post would go down. I did love the first paragraph though hehe.

I think they all need to carry weapons, THAT would spark my interest, no guns though.. well maybe the goalkeeper could have a shotgun, that would be hillarious!

but yeah, ALSO someone who knows everything from watching judgejudy or CSI. ahhh. people. gee wizz.
