Where is home?

Heaven help me...I'm thinking about moving to Israel permanently. I am in love with this country and I’m so much happier here.

But that means saying goodbye to my friends, to the New York Public Library, to long baths and my niece. It means living in a war zone. It means higher prices. It means less time with those I love.

I'd say you need to figure out what's most important to you and then decide based on that. Best wishes either way!

It sounds like an AMAZING opportunity! :D But I can understand all of your hesitation.

Think of it this way: If you are there for, say, a year, and it's just not as great as you thought it'd be, you can always take a visit back home and re-weigh your options.

I lived overseas for three years, taking summers off to go back to the States. I miss it terribly, and wouldn't trade it for the world!
