Sigh

So, my final days in Israel for this period (I'm likely to move here) are coming up, and it's been an awesome and fantastic year.

So to finish, I've been scheduling some tours.

One tour offered was a tour of Jenin and a number of refugee camps. I was curious about going but it's illegal for me to go. Sad.

I am still considering. I need to go back to the US to see my grandfather, and then I'll likely return to Israel after a couple of months to make aliyah and become an Israeli full time, depending on whether the job I'm interviewing for works out.

I really am happier here. I'm in love with Israel, with my family, with my culture, I'm just so happy here.

I will be back to visit, I won't be giving up US citizenship unless I run for the government (which in 20 years, I actually might) so I'll still be visiting plenty!

Do you still have an apartment in NY to go back to? Do you know which career path you would follow if you moved?

I do have an apartment to go back to, and I would likely continue working in policy. I have a job interview in a great policy organization, and hopefully, that will be a good fit.

Let's hope.
