I can't imagine how hard it must be to stand by watching, knowing there is nothing you can do. I'm so sorry for your friend.

Hugs, I am grateful for my friends. And I'm helping her get into clinical trials, and accepting that death is a part of life. There is beauty in remembering that no matter the pain, the friendship was worth it.

Yeah, fuck cancer. Ate my dad so quickly we hardly had time to say goodbye. A different kind of horrible to what you're going through now.
