Alton Brown was in Midland last night. As entertaining as Good Eats is, he's much funnier in person. If you have the opportunity to see him live, take it. If you have children, take them with you. After a roughly hour-and-a-half show, he spent over an hour answering audience questions and only stopped when the event organizer asked him to wrap

I converted to a religious sect that only has dial-up access.

That should be remedied soon. I just landed a job in St. Joseph and we'll be moving out there toward the end of the month (I start Feb. 4).
