Why American News Media Is Horrible

On CNN today, the first page has a story running about how one tourist in China has been murdered. Pushed off to the side, a story about how Russian forces have hit civilian targets and how TWO-THOUSAND people have been killed. One American is evidently more valuable than two-thousand Georgians... How does that make sense?

Yeah, I've been reading about that as there have been updates etc, and I'm surprised by how little I've actually heard it be talked about >___>

It's ridiculous. At least some independent news sites are covering the war in Georgia. http://www.infowars.com/ has been fairly good about not being insanely pro-US biased too which is a nice change of pace.
