"Looks like we got a rock show going on here."

Those words still remain with me. One of the few things that I have remembered from past concerts. It came from Raine Maida, after climbing back onstage. Some guy grabbed Raine's foot and he didn't know, when he turned around to get back onto the stage from the security column, the person was still holding on and Raine fell into the crowd.

Go on? )

i just listened to it at Barnes and Noble today... i didn't want to pick it up w/o hearing it first, even tho i knew i'd buy it whether i got to hear it or not, just cuz OLP is one of the best bands ever and i have to have all their cds... lol.

but anyway... thanks for posting that...

and i'm glad i'm not the only one who thought they were sounding very U2ish... i thought that the entire time i listened... i think they are sounding more "safe" and trying to be more mainstream perhaps? i mean, the listening at B&N didn't let me hear the whole song, but i heard a lot of just a branch off of "Gravity"=the more mainstream rock sound... like U2...

i really miss the funky sounds and Raine's falsetto.

I think what's great about them is that they can do so many different styles and it still sounds great. Although, I do agree that I miss Raine's falsetto.
