Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice??????
Since when are we the "Country of Choice"? The way I see it, the government makes it seem like we have choices when we really don't. You and I can "choose" to get married, but all of my gay/lesbian friends aren't allowed to choose. Its not like we are given much of a choice at the polls either - all the politicians are sleezebags anyways!
Regardless, what the United States does has a BIG effect on the rest of the world, so we can't just ignore their opinions on everything.
Think about it . .
I've got nothing better to do.
All I have to say is, when will they do something about MY RIGHTS?
Elect a democratic President. Republicans only stand up for the rights of the big corporations.
I celebrate Christmas, but because it isn't celebrated by everyone, we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's

"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented.
Actually, Christian men founded this country. At the time, women were second class citizens. Oh, and only white men - who also owned property (so they basically had to be first-born). And don't forget that one of the "christian principles" this country was founded on was SLAVERY!
It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.
I have considered it. god may be part of your culture, but he'll never be a part of my life.
If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did
