Who: Duo and Asuka, eventually Kaname
What: Totally, absolutely NOT a date Playing Hooky
When: Early afternoon, after the kitchen staff has cleared out from lunch
Where: Initially in the cafeteria, eventually around Tokyo
In the dishroom, behind the kitchens for the cafeteria, there was a security hole. The vent that kept some fresh air in there was very short, and it led directly outside. More to the point, the fan was busted and easy to move out of the way, and the other end was only a few feet above the ground. Duo didn't know how the normally competent engineers that worked for the GDF had left such a blatant security flaw, but now that everyone was stuck in the base, he figured he might as well take advantage of it. He'd tell the higher ups about it. Eventually.
For now, he was just sitting in the cafeteria, drinking a soda while he waited for Asuka. This was going to be fun.
