I noticed that people are dying in alphabetical order. That is really good. Saves a lot of time for the newspaper people who publish the obits. It doesn't matter which paper you read, they are all going in ABC order. I wonder why they aren't born that way? Or maybe they are and I'm just missing it. I like to think I knew Grandpa rather well. I got way mad at him once upon a time because he called me out on jerking off in front of a whole bunch of family and I got waaaay embarrassed. Towards the end there, he used to ask that I sneak him smokes. I think of him fondly.

Granpa loved you very much, also. He always told me that. And jerking off was part of life and he always was very plain spoken about life.

You should have been out on a date as a 15 or 16 yo female and come home to comments of whether I had been playing stinky finger or fishing leftover corn out of cavities with my tongue. Yep, granpa had a way of cutting off the surface nicieties and getting right to the nitty gritty of life.
