I was researching yesterday before I called to make sure you were above water :) It seemed to all be in pierce county, the worst of it anyway. That's the valley area yea? the place they demand homeowners maintain flood insurance? Heh. The ground is probably too frozen to absorb the rain : / Has all the rain melted your snow yet? thanks for checking in!
we have NO snow! the grass is green as can be, it was such a shock when we passed over into Western Washington on the drive out here. the worst part for us right now is all the road closures. there is absolutely no open route to get us out of our area. all of the main interstates are underwater or under avalanche warnings. Chehalis is the closest flooded place to us right now, which is about 30 miles south. they evacuated it and sent all the people to Olympia, i'm going to try to volunteer tonight at the red cross. there was an avalanche on the road that we took to come home this week! someone literally rode their house down the side of a mountain pass. his house was perfectly balanced on top of it. crazyness!
