Tonight I had a small birthday party with some of my favorite people here at school. It was a good night. We went to an izakaya (Japanese pub, of sorts with food and alcohol) and had some decent food and drink. Daniel was there. I was going to write Happy Birthday in Japanese for you, but I couldn't find the Hiragana anywhere and I'm not about to use shitty online translators that do everything so damn literally. So happy belated birthday, Sean.

I return in the beginning of August. I didn't see you at all when oyu returned to Albany. So maybe you've changed a lot...or not at all. :-) Anyway, I look forward to seeing everyone again.
