Seeing as how various members of the friends list have updated recently after long hiatuses (or is it "hiati"?), I figured it was my time

I know I'm getting into D20 Per. I'm wondering how the hell I'm going to clear my (good?) name after this last episode, though....
On the subject of politics--what is your opinion on Wes Clark? I mean, Dean seems to have somehow dropped the ball, which is too bad because he seemed like a choice candidate to me, but John Kerry just seems like such an utter wuss.... he's such a fucking... you know... Democrat. Wes Clark at least seems to have some cajones on him.
And by the by, it's cool to see you posting. Two thumbs up.

Yeah, I totally agree with your assessment of Kerry. You know though, that's what sells to most people, unfortunately, the general lowkey but standup nature of Kerry. Doesn't rock the boat, but won't get it anywhere either, in my opinion.
As for Clark, I'm not entirely sure what to think. It seems to me that he is only doing this half-heartedly, almost just to get his political feet wet before he decides what to do in the future. For the majority of his campaign everything that he has said has been through people in his "camp." He didn't even come out himself to announce his run for the Democratic nomination, a lackey did it for him. I guess what I'm getting at is that I wouldn't be surprised to see him be the frontrunner next time around (although it won't necessarily be for the Democrats, mind you) once he's figured stuff out for himself. This is just a run with the training wheels.
