    So I moved in today...so far, the only good thing that happened was I got to use the freight elevator to help move in (beautiful, let me tell you). Other than that...yeah.    Sin City is gorgeous.  Gratutiously violent, but gorgeous nevertheless.

    So...made peach jam today.  And here I was, thinking that we had a lot a strawberry jam...We have over thirty jars of peach jam right now.  Thank goodness my aunt is taking about half of them.  Still...we have just a TON of jam this year.  Looks like I'll be making lots of PBJs this year.

    Wow...today's turning into a big day of events for me, as I have just finished inventorying all of my books.  All 750+ of them.

Don't mind me, I'm just feeling very impressed with myself for the moment.

    I got my great-grandma's ring back today!!  It's so pretty and sparkly!!  So happy!

   I saw The Importance of Being Earnest yesterday at the Centennial Showboat.  The show was quite good and the guy who did Algernon did a very good job.  The lighting was simple, but they had some amazingly painted canvas backdrops and set bits.  There was a small problem of people running behind these drops and causing it to wave wildly....One ( Read more... )

     Today was 'Prod Durga's face' day.  By some sort of weird twist in the world, my sister scheduled our eye appointments the same day I had scheduled our dentist appointments.  Thankfully, not at the same time as she would have had to be the one to fix them since I made the dentist ones first.
