You should definitely focus on your school work of course, but as far as romance goes - you gotta /make/ it happen, man! :) And you should! You are denying some poor girl of an incredibly good catch. :D I know that you have taken a lot of major steps to put yourself out there, but unfortunately the only answer to that.. is to keep doing it. :)

As for your non-impending nuptials: I have to say that, misogynistic tendencies aside, you are not UN-attractive. You are just impatient and single minded. This does not make for easy girl spotting when your nose is in a tech manual. Relax, continue to get your life in order and keep your eyes open to the possibilities. If nothing else your mother will start making grand-baby noises in increasingly louder decibels so as to force the point (if she is anything like mine that is).

There should be a holiday every day. Someone should have done something important somewhere at just about all times. That some Saint tripped over a rock is good enough reason to splurge money, I figure! Call it Saint Trips Day.

Patience is for people who don't have anything important to do before they die. Considering this, its amazing that more people aren't patient.
But yes! One always must assess the possibilities. Just gotta focus on career for now, and don't throw away opportunity when it presents itself.
Don't worry, Mom is. :P That's what they do if they're grandbaby-less and you're 30+.
