The plumbers are at the house today installing the sink and toilet for the half bath. I need to take the fan down because the living room is now too small for a giant ceiling fan and it is now not centered in the room and looks crazy. Anyone want a nice ceiling fan? I am just going to replace it with some kind of track lighting. Still lots to do.

we'll take the ceiling fan! The one in our master is all ghetto- with brass and mood lights, ooooh.

The ECI through Easter Seals is the way to go. I know lots of families who have received therapy through them. But then again, Milo had "two weeks to walk" and started walking I think the day before that deadline, in the Chicago airport no less, so Julien might do the same.

I called your plumber (who was very nice) but he was too busy (damn your half bath!) so we called Touchstone and they did not sow up when they said they would nor did we ever receive a call back from them. Losers!

Crap! Did you call those other plumbers - the Wilson people? A good plumber is hard to find. And Ben also does a lot of work for Habitat so I can't guilt trip him into coming over or anything. Sounds like you did get someone out there so that is good.

I will do my best to preserve the parts of the fan when I uninstall. It is very nice - dark wood with brushed nickel and 4 lights. I even have one of those plastic rings that makes it look pretty on the ceiling.

sxsw - south by southwest music festival. an annual austin event where the town is inundated with every band and hipster on the planet. Generally despised by austinites because of the amount of douchebags that take over the city.

One Happy Island - A band with our friend Rebecca Mitchell in it. They are awesome and above the douchebaggery. They played a free show on Sat afternoon and we took J and he loved it!
