I lost another one

I know we saw it coming and that I was actually ready for it about a week ago when we didn't see him all day.
But today was a bit different. Today he died for real.
He wasn't breathing too good and he looked bad than usual.
But I didn't expect to find him lying like this on the front door, with his eyes open and flies circumscribing around him.
I just wish I was there and not informed by my brother while I tried to send a stupid fax to the army from my friend's house across the street.
I know I shouldn't feel like this but...
It's like the third time I'm losing a family member without being there beside them.
First it was my mother, then it was my other cat.
And now him.
What ironic is that my other cat, Parnas, which was younger died of unknown reason 2 months after my mother.
Then my older cat , Smoke, died now two days before my mother's memorial service.
It's like they both died to join my mom in the after life to make her happy. She loved them both greatly.
Maybe Smoke stayed here with us to be a little company before he went to my mother as well but only God can tell, I suppose.
At least I know he died in a good old age (almost 15). I think he was happy here and he was pretty much the king around here. He always fought the other cats around, even after he lost his teeth.
We used to laugh about him being the godfather of the cats haha
We even wanted to draw a little comic about it, also staring my other cat.
It would be nice now though.

I only have a picture of him from two years ago but I guess it's better this way, when he still looked nice and graceful.

But there is also a really funny picture of him that we caught back then and we always laugh about it

-sigh-
Now I'll be kinda lonely
But I guess I'll be okay.
I'm sad of course but we pretty much saw it coming so... yeah

R.I.P Smoke, my dear cat

my cat, irl
