A Text Bedtime Story For Bus

Jun 03, 2010 02:27

Bus requested a bedtime story to help her sleep and after asking her if she had any requests, I sent about nine text messages back to her. She wanted explosives and I hope I delivered something worthy is easing her to sleep. >.<;

The storm rolled in rather suddenly. Waves crashing against the shore in anger. The winds howled their frustration and I was merely at Poseidon's mercy. My faithful boat tried to meet the rough waters, desperately sliced her bow through them... But alas the sea is unforgiving, demanding many souls to keep her vast oceans full and satisfied. This night she wanted me, called out to me, and made promises of peace.

The rain soon began, pelting against the thick windows of the captain's bridge- my room- where I maintain hold of the wheel. A flash of lightning ices the blood rushing through panicked veins. My throat closes, eyes wide with fear as the monster of a wave charges at me. It's the end. Fin. Nothing will happen after this moment when nature and I close this short distance.

But hear me, Poseidon! And listen well! I will not be taken to your Locker so easily! Kicking and screaming, biting and thrashing, swearing and praying will be my final exit! The play's last scene.

The dark and angry sky was brightened by the ferocious fire that expelled from my explosives. One after the other, I hurled the deadly dynamite out to the sky. To the sea around me. Like a warrior from centuries past, I cried out to the horrid monster before me and battled a war I knew held no victory.

The End.

bedtime story, just for fun, for bus, wish granted
