oooooooooh boy. CRAFT SHOWS ARE SUPER FUN. i spent SO MUCH MONEY. Craft 2.0 was its name, and there is where i went and conquered. loot behind the cut, because not all of you care, and i'm going to squee...
i don't know what yardage they are, and i'm guessing at weight when i say it's worsted, but i'm planning to use it for felting anyway. :P and it was stuck riiiight in the corner, practically behind the table! the table which was covered with little teeny hanks of pretty-coloured rayon, pshhh. the rest of the knitting/crochet related stuff consisted of some baby clothes, lacy crochet collars, and some super-eyeburningly-bright handspun and knitted hats and scarves and stuff. that chick said she'd have actual hanks of yarn for sale next time. XD i'm currently on felt.co.nz trying to find who i bought the wool off, coz i fail at getting cards. if i find i will share! :D
Grace and I made it just in the nick of time...she was working this morning and I had a 2 year old's birthday to go to. I was in the market for a bag to be honest, but nothing caught my eye as suitable...maybe I missed out on all the good stuff because people bought it before me!
I did, however, just buy a new bag on Trademe (on Rachel Bradstock's suggestion) which is awesome cool and should be firmly on my shoulder at the commencement of next term!
Grace and I had a great time though, Grace was thinking about having a stall there but didn't sign up on time. And I ran into a customer from the Coffeesmiths who was the one who told me about Craft 2.0 in the first place! After that, we went fabric browsing for the wedding, and then looked at ready-made bridesmaids' dresses to get some ideas.
yay! heh the bags i was diggin' were of the almost nana-kind, but i'm weird like that. nice casual things that don't make me feel like a traitor because i'm walking into work carrying my borders bag. XD yay for finding a new one for you though, hopefully i'll actually get to see it this term :P Grace should! what would she be selling? her coats and other clothing? there seemed to be a lot of accessories there, but not a lot in the way of finished clothing. which is kind of understandable, but if they have more space next year it would be cool to have that too. and just more space, period. XD yay fabric-browsing! i'm getting all excited to hear about your wedding plans. i'm such a dork. XD
vacant.muse.lolita at gmail.com (the dots are meant to be there, just replace the at) miss you! how goes the holiday? i havent written a word of this essay yet. XD
yay! i'm glad my nonsensical rambling pleases :P you fell down the stairs? yikes! only slightly better than falling *up* the stairs. :P thanks! my haul cost me like... $80. which i SO don't really have to spend, but heck. i'm trying to dig my way out of a $1000 overdraft, and am about halfway there. >.<'
