The news today was shocking, and it made me think of something...I really hate the news, because it's rarely inspiring or pleasant. All that ever seems to make the front page is horror stories and things that make me wonder what there is left to live for. What happened to love, peace, and those simple joys? I wish there was more of that in this

News may have bad stories on the front page, but it can tell really great things if you turn the pages. You just have to find them, Kurenai-sensei. ^^

I know, I know...I just wish that the bad stuff didn't seem to outweigh the good.

Sadly, it's true. People nowadays do not want to reflect in joy. Why? I cannot say. Cynicism, I would suppose- it's gotten a far more cynical world just in the past few years.

I've never really considered myself a cynic, but in this day and age it seems hard to avoid...

Though the news is tragic, nothing is accomplished wishing for or wondering what happened to the good. The best one can do is make the best of what one has and continue with life.
