I just got completely ripped off for beer, and then I realized it was for $1.50. Nothing to me in the scheme of things, and probably better off in her hands anyway.

Vietnam has been exactly what I needed after Cambodia. Saigon still has my heart, but each city I've been to here has a different feel to it. Hanoi is all that is left, and I feel like ( Read more... )

That's the hard part there. Going back when there is so much out there is hard. But you can always save money for trips to other places. I've been feeling better. Every year I try to get to 1-3 places and now I've been to a lot of places and it's easier and easier and I get excited when I can go on trips

I think I'll end up doing that too. A few months at a time is fun, but I think I've had my fill. Knowing I can do a few new places everyday is perfect.

Uncertainty sucks, no matter where it is :/ I agree on the idea that you can save up for more trips in the future; the whole world will be waiting for you when you're ready.

Going back can be a much a culture shock as arriving can be, that's for sure. For now, keep those thoughts out of your mind and just enjoy the present.
