Oh boy. Brother against brother. If Sam is possessed they he won't die. The blade shouldn't affect him. What's Dean going to do when he figures this out?

And what's happening with Jo? Sam said that she wasn't bait. Why the hell did he kidnap her and strip her? What's he planning with her?

Yeah, Dean knows that the demon won't die like that, but Sam will. He's just proving that the demon can't use Sam as a way to manipulate Dean.

He just kidnapped her so that Dean would have nothing left and be forced to work with the demon (which didn't work out anyways). The demon just wanted to mess with Jo and make her vulnerable.
