I just found out today that a certain month is pronounced and spelled February...

...which means that for some reason, over the course of my entire life, I have been spelling and pronouncing it Febuary.
I don't exactly know how I missed such a fairly big piece of common knowledge... but I am shocked and appalled.

Don't feel bad! I knew of the spelling, but I still pronounce it without the first R, and I refuse to change that! It's kind of like Wednesday (I say Wensday). English is a stupid, terrible language!

Don't feel too bad. I just recently learned how "Final Jeopardy" actually was played. I was always like "they knew they got the answer wrong!Why'd they bet all that damn money!" Didn't know they had to bet before they knew the answer. Game's been alive longer than I have, think I'd be able to pick up on how it's played.
