Well, I'd say it's kind of a pro cons thing. On one hand, the whole college in miniature thing's been accomplished already here at the high school (although, in college you don't have 5-6 classes with similar workloads, it's more like 2 or 3).
But, on the other hand, it is one hell of a different world out there, and not just in LO but getting out of Portland. Heck, just making a very slight shift in the same West Coast culture by going to Seattle was a real eye opener.
So, I'd say if nothing else you'd definitely gain something by seeing some more of the outside world (just keeping in mind Boston's just another little chunk out of many).
Anyway, from the wise old geezer department of my musings, I'd say there's definitely some pros to getting outta here, but still figure out what fits you best and go for it.
