A podcast I was listening to just mentioned "Mermaid's Scar." I can't believe it, "Mermaid's Scar!" That was an anime/manga about the people eating mermaid flesh and becoming bloodthirsty monsters. It was gory and graphic and dark. It was so long ago too. I liked the innovation of it!
