Gerard,

That does sound fun. When you and Ethan used to tell me about Brazil, I would get quite jealous. It sounds more fun than India, in a lot of ways. Though, of course, India is its own place and I'll always love every part of it.

Ethan has a tendency to think too practically, and not whimsically enough. It's funny that, as a Ravenclaw and a firm believer in practicality, that I should say that - but I think you can find plenty of uses for your information. You could write a book. You could always become a Professor - I've always seen you as the type for that.

I'll contact my end of friends, and you contact yours. Perhaps we can somehow get Eddie and Jediah to let us into that flat of theirs.

Hope you're still doing well, and hope to hear from you soon.

Padma,

Perhaps it's merely the idea of being someplace you have never been before...because I am quite certain India would be far more interesting that Brazil. But that's neither here nor there. If, at some point in the future, you're still toying with the notion of Brazil, I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind letting you stay on our property.

Ah - but I agree with you. Ethan has very little imagination. If it's not clean-cut and doesn't follow a logical pattern, he gets frustrated. I could write a book - I've been trying to for years. I've just never found a topic that really held my interest much past the first few chapters. And...well. I've never really considered being a Professor, but I don't think I'd be adverse to the idea. It might actually be quite perfect...

I will certainly ask Jediah when next I see him...if I see him. If I don't, I'll owl him. Perhaps you could ask Mandy to speak to him as well. I've a feeling she'd have more sway than I.

It was wonderful to hear from you, please do write again soon.

Fond regards,Gerard
