Mhmm! It was kind of hard finding all the fabric.
It was originally going to be his birthday present, but then I heard about this day... but I have other things!

I heard from a friend that he's also quite fond of apple pie, if you're still looking for a gift for his birthday.

... Apple pie? I've never heard of that.

Oh wow... there's a day for mothers, too? I know about Christmas, and New Year's, Valentine's, and Halloween... Independence Day is America's birthday, right?

Yes, I do! America told me about them... though I've never actually been there, or to any of those countries. They don't exist in my world.

Oh, thank you!
-- Wait, you have a birthday soon, right? I remember, from last year!

I.. ahh... y-yes, it is! It's the first of July, actually.
...I was here for my birthday last year? Did anything.. happen for it? Not that I.. well.. I'm just curious, eh?

Right, close to America's... I remember!
I guess that was part of the time you don't remember... but yes, there was a party at the bar. There were cake and presents and everything too! Though a lot of us didn't know until it was the day.
Since I have more time to plan now, do you want anything? I want to make sure you have a nice present, too.

Since you asked, there's the Qixi Festival, but it's not as popular as Valentine's Day. Where I'm from, the guys give the girls chocolates and flowers on Valentine's, then on White Day, the girls give the guys chocolates. They do it the other way around in Japan's place, though! Oh, and there's Chinese New Year, we just had Duanwu Festival a few days ago, then there's the Ghost Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Winter Solstice Festival...

That's a lot of festivals! Is there really one for ghosts?
... You know Japan?

Mmhmm! On that day, the dead come to haunt the living - yeah, I know him. He's my brother.

Oh! You're Taiwan, right? Japan told me about you! He was worried.
