Okay, a weird title I'm sure, but it's cause I finished the pie part of my TAR. Which was make 3-4 types of pies and two crust with at least one being flakey or mealy. I made chicken pot pie(forgot the salt, not so good), Peanut Butter Pie(two of them, very yummy with home made cookie crumb crust), Bacon and Double Cheese Quiche(meh, not my fav, ( Read more... )

Here's my Challah recipe:

1.) Take box out of freezer

2.) Follow directions on box

3.) Eat!

I'm a culinary student and trained chef, we don't make it from the freezer, atleast not on your 3rd level you can't.

One of these days you'll have to let me know what your schedule is for leaving/going places so we can hang out before you go.
Cuz I can drive across town to your house, but I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it up to Connecticut very often. :P

I wont be leaving till the end of September at the earliest since I need to see the center and get through all the applications. Yeah I don't expect anyone to want to come to CT to see me, it's out of the way of everything and a 4+ hour drive from DE.

Well I get out of job corps everyday at 3:50 and I'm home around 5:30 if I'm lucky. And I have a 4 days weekend this week.
