So I did my demo, but it didn't get me the better job. It was hard, the kitchen was laid out so poorly I couldn't find anything I needed so I really think my dishes suffered a lot. As it is none of the kitchens had corn syrup, so I had to call Keith and ask him to bring me some. Not only did I already pay for and bring in some of my own ingredients

I'm sorry that was a trying experience. At least you put yourself out there, though, and you're in the company now and can work your way upward. That is crazy about not being able to meet the people who reviewed your dishes or get feedback from them.

It's better than being in retail . . . I think you'll get a lot more respect at Dover Downes than FL. Plus there's opportunites for advancement.
