I've been rewatching some of the Fourth Doctor. Tom Baker is so brilliant, he plays The Doctor as such a serious character, but he can also pull the funniest dead-pan lines. It makes you wonder if he's really a solemn character with moments of levity, or if he's really joking around when he's at his most serious. Also, love the scarf. -

McCain's speech was lovely, full of a dignity I had not seen in him.
and golly, Obama's speech was truly powerful.

Oh God. election jitters to the max -
so, this was awesome
ok. So. The night before last, I was at this Obama rally, and I was literally 15 FEET AWAY.
capslock is occasionally necessary to express the awesomeness of things.
I did wait in line for hours, but it was completely worth it.
I still have jitters. Two days later. That's how awesome it was. -

I hate Junior year. I hate homework.
On the positive side, I have a new favorite band. The Fratellis. They're wonderful, and they're good enough to make Chemistry homework almost enjoyable, and that's saying something.
I have three tests and a quiz in the next two days. And I'm determined to do well on at least one.

Well, Halloween's a little less than two months away, so time to start making my costume. Or so I keep telling myself. I'm staying distracted from my homework by googling other people's takes on Faramir, to see just what help I can get. I have only one thing to say. Brilliant. So brilliant. So perfect and wonderful and terrible and awesome and Doctor Who-ish. They were so Doctory. All crazy and intense and amazing. All of them. -

I have absolutely no idea what brought this on, but I couldn't sleep at one o'clock in the morning and ended up writing about two hundred words of Morrowind fic on the back of an old story.
