So there's something I have to get off my chest.

9 was the worst movie I've ever seen in a theater. I was so fucking close to walking out of that movie -- something I've never even seriously CONTEMPLATED before. It was beautiful. I might give it another shot in the background. I can appreciate camp when I'm not JUDGING IT WITH MY EYES. I really want to read Nightwatch... cause I recall enjoying the movie when it came out. and generally books are so much better but everyone knew that.

And agreed, little brother, I'm missing you too. We're replanning our Alabasta shoot and expanding our Mugiwara team and I was regretting the distance between us because it'd be awesome to have you as our Luffy. FUCK YOU, ARIZONA-NEW MEXICO.

I was disappointed with 9 in that aspect to. I would have REALLY liked character development or ANYTHING really because it felt like I was sitting there the entire time just waiting for something to happen to make the characters personable and loveable because it felt like it all had so much potential but idk... didn't feel like giving up the goods. :I

Thats pretty much how me and my friends felt about 9, I wasnt SURPRISED. Its kind of what happens some times when the creative side cling to tightly to the reigns of art vision. And forget to write a story.

Aw I am also horrible with human interactions. I always say terrible things.

Re: 9 short. We got home and watched it. It was excellent for an animated short. The problem being that they didn't ADD anything to it and somehow attempted to stretch a ten minute short into a 90 minute feature film without giving it any more of a plot than the short had.
