Its been a while since Ive posted anything it seems. Currently in Arequipa, Peru. Very ill, which is very unfortunate because I had big plans to hike into Colca Cañon and possibly coathuasi as well. No Andean Condors for me. The city itself is beautiful--at around 2300 meters, the old buildings are completely made out of a white volcanic rock ( Read more... ) -

In costa rica. Lovely sunsets, beaches, bugs, birds, plants, people. A bit hot and humid, but my skin likes it, at least when it's not burnt. Gunna be hard to move on from here, but hopeful for the future. -
Binging....
I made a carmelized onion/pear/walnut/gorgonzola flat bread tonight. Big mistake.
Then I made a vegan chocolate zucchini cake with chocolate/peanutbutter frosting. Even bigger mistake.
My tummy is definitely not used to eating. :( -

I just ate half of a perfectly ripe avocado, dusted with sea salt. The most-solid thing Ive eaten in 12 days.
