way to find a bargin, and you're right no one has to know - although it could be real. I'm sure there's some marking that shows it's authenticity. Just looked at my mug I got at the United Nations (the Netherlands)while in New York a couple years ago. It says Delft Blue on the bottom, now I know what that signifies. Thanks for helping me learn something new today...you do the same. <3 aunt paula
