I hope you've already read The Stranger. The two are both so great, especially in the same period of time. You took my copy, didn't you?

The grubby little fingerprints. You and your obsession with eating peanut butter out of the jar.

Haha, I sincerely hope so. Only that one? The boy in my picture must have at least five Lacoste shirts.

Why do your friends hate The Metamorphasis?
I haven't read any of those, although my sarcastic, 32-year-old, married cousin who used to beat up my oldest brother mentioned The Great Gatsby when we were talking about wasps (white, anglo-saxon protestants), I think.
I finished The Power of One recently and it was beautiful. By Bryce Courtenay, I think. I encourage you to read it. It made me really emotional and I think about it frequently.

We haven't talked in forever. Yeah, I was in Portland and Cannon Beach (not at the same time) for ten days... Miss you.

It was weird, they actually seemed smart about hating it. They just said it wasn't worth reading, as did my uncle.
I love that people have been giving input on books later. Thank you, and I will try and read that some time in the future. I know you had an excerpt from it in your journal that I really wanted to read and think about, but haven't had time. And I'm sorry.

I was thinking about how much I missed you today not long after I woke up and read this originally. I thought it other times too. Come to me.
