Epiphanies are only beneficial if they're positive. I suppose a negative epiphany could be beneficial down the road, but the one I stumbled on this afternoon seems to be lacking benefits ( Read more... )

it is easy to be anti-social and to feel alone, even when amidst friends/family, it is safer, and it is easier to say that no one else understands than to take the time to find the few who do, i've found that eventually you will stumble across individuals with the same introverted anti-social quirks as yourself... they're just harder to find b/c they are busy living in their own little worlds as well thinking they are the alone and socially inept, but it's possible, and the relationships you will have with them will be far richer than those of the countless other acquaintences you'll meet along the way... over the past few years i've managed to make friends with the other individuals who also keep their mouths shut in group situations and refuse to make first phone calls, but somehow managed to cultivate relationships with each other and these are the people that seem to have a greater understanding of the world at large... i think i'll leave it at that.
