So...I finally found a Nazi romance: The Kommandant's GirlFor a long time now, I've been hoping I'd come across a WWII romance between a Nazi officer and a Jewish girl for a number of reasons -- the squeeful reason is that UWAHH, hawt SS Officer in the black uniform falling in luuuuv with a forbidden girl and OMG the ANGST!~!! I heard it was a great movie, but was told that I would cry nonstop. ;__; So I haven't had the guts to watch it. Kinda makes me think of movie The Nuremburg Trial. Have you seen/heard of it? I tried watching it for a class assignment in high school, but I barely got a quarter way through the movie before I was bawling uncontrollably and had to stop. I think I've been avoiding mega tearjerkers ever since. =__=

Maybe I should just buckle down and watch anyway?

Well, my grandmama was in Auschwitz so I grew up with the Holocaust. I can't watch it because it hits too close to home. I did see The Nuremburg Trial and sobbed my eyes out.

But it is really worth watching.

I don't know, I recall being pretty happy at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Nazis get roasted by skull-faced ghosts.

Le sigh. It's like an application of Godwin's Law or something. Nazis == automatic crash and burn, end of story.

How/when is that road trip of yours coming? Tomorrow I get my wisdome teeth pulled, and i haven't heard from you in ages! T_T
