In comic strip format, because my oral surgeon suckered me into drawing it! As in, after finding out I draw, he explains happily to Mom in a Russian accent, "She is going to draw a comic about her experience!" ;;__;;
heee, yeah, I heard it from a couple of people, but it seems like my doctor doesn't do that anymore. Advanced techniques or somesuch. :} But it didn't stop me from barfarooing in the car. D:
Did you undergo general or local? And which is which, I do not rememberrrrr, ahhaah. Er. Anyways when I got my wisdom teeth out (all three in one go!), I was eating jello by the evening. XD You're totally missing the fun of the syringe though! It wasn't really a needle needle, it was actually quite large, and flushing out chunks of partially digested meats from the holes in your mouth is like finding secret caches of food in the winter!
He gave me laughing gas first. That made me tingley all over and queasy b/c it was like...an imaginary pressure pushing down on my brains. Then he did an IV thingy to sort of knock me out, and then looots of local so my whole lower face was unfeelable, so when I did upchuck, I couldn't control how it fell out! The IV didn't really knock me out though...I kept opening my eyes for some reason and he had to tell me to close them twice. Hence panel 2 of comic! But I suppose they arent supposed to dose me completely since I do have to wake up enough to walk out. :x
Thanks! I didn't use anything special. Mostly Staedtler technical pens for 90% of it (03,05, and 07 for word bubbles), a Faber-Castell Pitt brush pen to fill in blacks and do a little bit of outlining and the title, and a Sharpie marker for the borders.
whuuuuuut... wow i'm glad you didn't get dental done in colombia then. HAHAHA. i love the post-surgery and check up pictures of you. actually all of them are adorable. i feel awful for not seeing this until now. >__< sorry!!! ;-; wisdom teeth removal is a big deal!!! however, i'm glad things are alright in the end :D <3

Anyways, neither of my friends in sem who got their wisdom teeth out were knocked out either. I wonder if this is a new trend.
