I just wish there was an easy way to learn how to color them. I don't do computer coloring b/c I have tendonitis, and it would kill my arm to take the time to learn. ;__; But my watercolor skills and color theory ability is so low, I'm afraid to touch the pictures.
Didn't you use to do watercolors? How did you learn first starting out? I try to watch how-to videos and read books, but I just get bored...
Actually, this is completely off topic, but I just remembered that you used to collect Natsuki Sumeragi manga! I recently realized that yesasia has her manga for sale (yes, I'm soooo slow to realize this) and wanted to buy some for reference. But there are many to choose from, and I don't want to buy them all in one shot...
Do you have any recommendations on which titles of hers are the best? Thanks!
oh yesasia. they give 1 result for the english search and 15 for the japanese search with the same english name lol
I wouldn't touch archaic chain (disappointment...) but all her chinese period stuff are a must have save for the fact that the books are so mini but so mini that you have to go through them with a magnify lens and not joking. I hope they reprinted these at least at regular manga size :-/ I really need to buy her 2007 stuff to see where she's heading! I hope she's not taking the weird cute anime turn like nihei-san. Always think she's one of the few worthwhile artists around nowadays.
