DUDE. THIS. ART.
I know I've like, flailed and gushed to you in email, after each piece you sent me, but I'm in love with the art you made for me. I legit am giddy over how lucky I am. Seeing these things come to life, straight outta my fic, is AWESOME. You're so talented!! <3 (No joke, anyone IRL who knows I fic? Ya, I've been shoving this art in their faces, yelling about how pretty it is. Ask my mom.)
But seriously. For starters, the dawn scene with Tony and Dommal has been in my head from the very start of this fic and to see it rendered and colored so beautifully !!!!!

Wow, I still am kind of amazed by your unbridled reactions. I think I may have mentioned it before, but I kind of am over my art in a day or two once I finish. So it's like, wOOOooah, someone else is that into it???? I don't get it, but I'm super happy that you're so happy!
\(;_;)/ I'm glad I can make art for others that will impact them so much! Thanks for giving me that!

Ahaha I guessed it was from the facial hair XD) they look so pensive and slightly worried. Ughhhh I love it ALLLLL!!

I was actually referencing the Russian fairytale illustrator Ivan Biliban (not that my art resembles his in any way...) at the time. I really love his artwork! Along with Alphonse Mucha, Arthur Rackham, etc.
redplasticglass helped rescue the colored pic with some Photoshop as well, otherwise it would have looked like unicorn candy land instead of a sunrise.

Ikenaga yasunari stands out to me though. Most of his work are paintings, but apparently he recently did ukiyo-e in his style. His work feels like a stylish and sensitive merging of both modern and old school!
So you have any other artists that you like?
