I pressed the button. Sure, I couldn't have disarmed it, I'm no executive, but would I have? No. I set off the explosion that dropped the Plate, and lots of people died. SIN lied, folks.

I don't feel even a little guilty. Because it's my job.

...Weird.

That out of the way, who's up for a drink?

[ooc: w-wtf, hit post too soon!]

i like my level, let me explain, curse day, liar liar?, affected

You don't sound like much of a soldier.

Elaborate, please. On your job and the "Plate".

Nah, I just scout for those.

Turk. A member of ShinRa Company's Department of Administrative Research. Turks scout for candidates for SOLDIER, serve as bodyguards, and do a few other things, too. ShinRa operates out of the city, Midgar, which has two levels -- the slums (not their real name but it works) and the Plate. The plate's exactly what it sounds like, elevated by a central pillar and smaller columns in each Sector. The City, plate and slum alike, was divided into eight sectors.

If something were to happen to one of the columns in a sector, that bit of plate would come crashing down. It made a big bang.

Interesting. You must be from Yuffie's world. She did mention something about a "SOLDIER"... I assume SOLDIER is a branch of the ShinRa Company then? She failed to elaborate upon it, let alone upon the Turks or the ShinRa Company. I don't recall any mention of a "Midgar", though. Is it technologically sufficient city or...?

That girl? Yeah, that's right.

It's the most technologically advanced city in the world. Or, it was, until the crisis.
