[ A small pause, as if she's considering it. ] ... I guess some help won't hurt, especially considering how huge this place is. If it's here somewhere, it's important I find it as fast as possible.
[Hal seems to know what he's doing - he's got a few records already selected, what looks to be Chuck Barry and Roy Orbison, and he scans through the P's at an unhurried pace.]
Hm? Oh, sure. Are you all right?
[He assesses her with a keen look, leaning against the fixture.]
[ She immediately puts up a tiny smile on her face - pleasant and polite, the smile she often used for public idol appearances back home. ]
I'm just fine. I was just wondering.. I'm looking for a record by an artist named Aino Minako, but it seems they don't have that one here. Perhaps you've heard of her though?
I suppose with the American theme here they would be sort of obscure either way.. She's a Japanese idol, after all. J-Pop. [ Even if that term would probably mean nothing to someone American. ]
[Well, here's your fellow idol, Minako. She's gone into the record store out of pure curiosity of what, exactly, does this place stock, and is sure to be disappointed when she finds that no, they don't have any Japanese music.
She's on her way out when Minako asks her that question.]
[ AND SO THE IDOL RIVALRY IS BORN. Even if Minako doesn't know about it yet. She smiles a little - politely, even, her usual idol smile rather than her serious soldier front. ]
I was looking for a specific album, but.. it seems they don't have it here. It's by an artist named Aino Minako.. do you know her?
Exactly, I figured out this method is much better than just randomly wandering the streets and hoping to bump into them. Besides, I'd hope the girls I'm trying to contact are smart enough to at least check these phones occasionally. [ Well, maybe not in Usagi's case, but.. a girl can hope..
Also how does she explain that Artemis isn't really her possession as much as he's a being entirely of his own, even as a plush animal.. She just doesn't explain. ]
Doesn't it sometimes occur that things are brought here without their owners around?

Hmm, this one is a bit of a special case, so I wouldn't be surprised if it had arrived here on its own without me even being here.

I can't say the name rings a bell. But, to be honest, I'm probably not the greatest person to ask. [A note of apology colors his tone.]
What kind of music are they?

I've never heard of her before. Besides, all they stock here is fifties stuff!
[She checked already.]

[ A slight shrug. She knows what she has to know. ]
And it seems they're really trying to go for this fifties theme all the way, huh?
