none of that will change in college, you will still only read what you need to and everything is for a grade, out of the 13 possibly books i have had to read this year, i have only read 2 1/2, it works, but come junior and senior year you have to read for everything and find ways to learn to love it, but it is all for the grade.

my oldest sister, Christina, (she just graduated from UF with a degree in computer science & math) has not taken an English course since her senior year of high school.
i agree with this. ive already met most of my General Education requirements for UF, and I've met the state requirements, that Gordon Rule or whatev, for a certain number of credits for math classes, as well as the writing requirement of 24000 words at the end of four years (i have 36000 right now); and ive met 30 of UF's required 120 credits, not bad for a Freshman. o and im exempt from a bajillion classes, and tho its cool it kinda feels weird to be taking filler classes my first year.
