Ireland, Ancestors and Love

May 05, 2006 14:15

Hello from Ireland everyone! Pretty_vacant and I moved to Ireland a few weeks ago. We are actually moving into our first apartment later today. We are in Cork and will live on Blarney Street. I guess you can't get more Irish than that. This was a spur of the moment decision and we will probably live here for about 6 months. I love this city. It has ( Read more... )

As I have said time and time again, I think we definately have the love story to end them all. Who the hell else would chase one another from country to country because they know that they can not live without the other? There are many who fool themselves and think they would do it, but realistically, I know it is just us.

I love ya, me gorgeous man.xxxxxxx

well, i got three little Diamond Back Terrapins recently. A carolinan, a northern, and a concentric. They're great little guys. I'm hoping to get an ornate in august. I'm on a couple of waiting lists. Other than that the turtle count is pretty consistant. I found a little painted today on my way to dinner so he's temporarily in my care but i'm going to release him and my other painted this weekend and a secluded little pond. They should like it there and its deep enough that they'll be able to winter comfortably. I think its about 50' at the deep point. The ferret died a month or so ago which was sad and the squirrel died back in november so its been a sad few months. They were both up there in years though so i guess it was just their time. But yeah, thats about it. hahaha the ponies are doing great but i haven't been doing shit as far as riding. Its been ages since i've done anything serious on either of them. Its kinda sad. You should get on YIM one of these days so we can catch up.

I think you may have more animals than my mother now, which I didn't think was possible. Sorry to hear about the losses. I commented late on your journal about the ferret. I know you must have given him one hell of a life, so be proud of yourself for helping all the little guys live great lives. Sounds good about the turtle release program. When I go to my parents place in Texas, I always see a turtle my sister and I released into the pond there. He loves it and we see him peeking out now and then to tell us he is alive.

Get your ass on those ponies! My sister is doing the same thing. She only goes over there to brush and feed these days. I guess they have it easy.

I'll get on YIM when I get the net from the apartment. Lately, I've just been using net cafes. I should still have your name on the buddy list, so if you see me light up one of these days, say hello. Take care.

I think you may be on to a new disorder.

I am having a great time. A bit scary at times, but quite exciting.

Thanks for the B-day with. How is life out there for you now?

My god, you really are hard to keep track of. I'm glad to hear you guys are doing well and are happy. Send pictures and keychains!

Also, if your travels ever bring you back to the states, drop by NC, damnit. You still owe me a visit.

For a few days, I didn't even know where I would be in a few days.

I have a ton of pictures, so I'll try to upload a few one of these days. I'll probably have to wait for the internet at the apartment, but I have plenty to share. I've actually been collecting keychains. I have a really cool one from Wales and have my eye on a few from here. What types do you want?

I will definitely try my hardest to drop by NC. I do owe you. I hope you are doing well and are as happy as a little jaybird. Take care woman.

Well, I'm fat, so I must be happy. ;D Don't worry about the keychain, I'm just happy to see you're doing well and doing what you want to do with the person you want to do it with. I look forward to hearing more and seeing pictures.

Love and happiness are fattening. I gained a bit of weight, but these hills in Ireland have shed the pounds quickly. We have only been walking around lately, so we are definitely spending more energy than we are intaking.

No keychain for you then. I will get some pics up in a week or so. I'll let you know. Take care fatty.
